"Gifts Unexpected is the inspirational story of Adela, unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer and her transformational journey during treatment and recovery. It is a story that describes the cancer journey, yet gently so, and with a loving hand.  Most powerful in the story of Adela’s recovery is the invitation to consider the mysterious, the higher power awakening her to deeper parts of herself.  While Gifts Unexpected may bring tears to your eyes, it delivers a message of hope and healing."
